Schönwiese

Schönwiese (Schoenwiese), a common Mennonite village name transplanted from Schönwiese near Chortitza in the Ukraine to Barnaul, Siberia; East Reserve and West Reserve in Manitoba; Swift Current, Saskatchewan; Cuauhtemoc, Mexico; Menno in the Chaco, and Villarrica in the Sommerfeld settlement, Paraguay (see Villages).
