Kort Onderwys des Christelijke Geloofs (Short Catechism of the Christian Faith), a short Dutch catechism of the Christian faith, was drawn up by Jan Maarensz Mol of Wormer at the request of the Zonist conference. It was edited in Amsterdam in 1697 by E. A. van Dooregeest, Herman Schijn, and Pieter Beets (reprints 1698, 1710, 1723, 1740, 1753, all at Amsterdam). The Kort Onderwys in all editions is followed by Korte Schets van onderwys voor de aankomende Jeugd (Short Outline of Instruction for the Older Youth), of which there were separate editions at Alkmaar (n.d.) and De Rijp, 1740.
