Fleetwood Church of God in Christ, Mennonite (Fleetwood, Pennsylvania, USA)
The Fleetwood Church of God in Christ, Mennonite congregation near Fleetwood, Berks County, Pennsylvania, USA was established in 1978. The congregation began through the efforts of the denominational mission board. In 1976 tent meetings were held in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania followed by brief stays by Arnold and Viola Wiggers as mission workers. Early converts worshiped with the Morning Star congregation in Mifflinburg.
Regular services began in September 1977 in a used mobile classroom. Land was purchased and construction began on a new church in June 1978. The first service in the new building was held on 5 September 1978, at which time the congregation formally organized. The congregation added a new sanctuary in 1998. The mobile unit was then used as the Fleetwood Christian School. The construction of a new school began in 1984.
In 2020 the congregation was part of the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite. The ministers were Elmer L. Swarey and Kendall Koehn.
