Faith Mennonite Church (Geneva, Nebraska, USA)
The Faith Mennonite Church, Geneva, Nebraska, USA, began in 1965 when 23 members left the Salem Mennonite Church in Shickley. Salem Mennonite was part of the Iowa-Nebraska Mennonite Conference of the Mennonite Church (MC). The first service was held 14 March 1965 in the Meridian Courts in Geneva. Initially, the Bethesda Mennonite Church of Henderson, Nebraska provided assistance to the group. Bethesda was part of the Northern District Conference of the General Conference Mennonite Church; Faith Mennonite also joined these conferences.
The new congregation, with the help of a loan from the General Conference's Church Extension Service, built a church that it dedicated on 11 December 1966.
Faith Mennonite Church closed at the end of 1994.
