Evangelische Stimmen

Evangelische Stimmen, the title of a collection of sermons “for all Sundays and holidays. Published in co-operation with several Mennonite preachers by Johannes Molenaar.” The first volume, published at Leipzig in 1844, contains six sermons: (1) an Advent sermon by Molenaar on Matthew 21:1-9; (2) for the second Advent Sunday by Jakob Mannhardt of Danzig on Mark 1:14, 15; (3) for the third Sunday of the Epiphany by Isaak Molenaar of Crefeld on Matthew 8:1-13; (4) for the fifth Sunday of the Epiphany by Jakob Ellenberger of Friedelsheim on Matthew 11:28-30; (5) for the first Sunday of the Trinity by J. de Liefde of Zutphen, Holland, on Acts 2:47; (6) and for the twenty-third Sunday of the Trinity by Johann Gottfried Lübkes of Neuwied on Philippians 3:17-21. Further volumes were presumably not published.
