Ernstige Aenporringhe tot Gemeenschap der Heyligen
Ernstige Aenporringhe tot Gemeenschap der Heyligen, a Dutch Mennonite pamphlet, which appeared after the Frisian and High German Mennonites in Holland had resolved to unite. It is a peaceful and moderate writing, condemning discord and schism among the brethren, and first published in Amsterdam in 1630 together with Jan Cents’ confession, which was to be the basis of the union of the Frisian and High German groups in 1639. Some extracts of it were reprinted together with other documents by Geleyn Jansz at Vlissingen in 1666.
