Cellebration Fellowship (Atlanta, Georgia, USA)
The Cellebration Fellowship (originally written as Cell-ebration) in the greater Atlanta, Georgia, area began in 1998. J. David Lambert provided leadership to this new congregation connected to the Lancaster Mennonite Conference.
The congregation began as an outreach to refugees. In 2005, it had members from Sudan, Burma, Laos, and West Africa.
In 2000, the Lancaster Mennonite Conference "released" the 14 churches it had established in the southeast United States to form a new network called Good News Fellowship (GNF). Cellebration became part of this new fellowship.
In 2009, the congregation lost the place it had rented for worship and split into four house churches, partially divided by language. Given this reality, Lambert recorded a sermon on a DVD that was played in each house church.
In 2010, one of the house churches, a Burmese background group, established the independent Myanmar Baptist Church.
In 2023, the group met in the Clarkston Community Center, Clarkston, Georgia, in a suburb of Atlanta.
