Evangelical Center for Revival (Middletown, Pennsylvania, USA)
The Église Francophone pour le Réveil (French Church for Revival), Middletown, Pennsylvania, began as a cell group in 1999, meeting in homes multiple times per week. In 2002, Jean-Bruno Nzey arrived from Africa and provided pastoral leadership in shifting to a congregational model. At the end of 2002, the group began to meet in the Bethel AME Church in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and later at the Trinity Lutheran Church. Later moves were to a business location, then the Rainbow Youth Center in Mount Joy. In November 2015, it purchased a facility in Middletown, Pennsylvania.
The congregation joined the Lancaster Mennonite Conference in 2010. Sometime after 2013, it changed its name to Evangelical Center for Revival. By 2020, members included persons originally from Angola, Cameroon, Chad, Central African Republic, Congo-Brazzaville, Democratic Republic of Congo, Haiti, Ivory Coast, and the United States.
By the 2020s, sermons were presented in either French or English, depending on the speaker's primary language, with translation provided.
