Morris Heights Mennonite Church (Bronx, New York, USA)
The Morris Heights Mennonite Church began in 1978 as an outreach to newcomers from the Dominican Republic living in South Bronx, New York, USA. Juan Suero was ordained to lead the work in 1978.
However, by 1982 the Morris Heights community was becoming more African American, and members of the Spanish-speaking congregation lived at a distance.
In late 1986 the congregation merged with the Bronx Spanish Mennonite Church to form the Iglesia Evangelica Menonita Eben-Ezer.
