King Ranch Hutterite Colony (Lewistown, Montana, USA)
The King Ranch Hutterite Bruderhof near Lewistown, Montana, founded in 1935 by Preacher Joseph Stahl and several families from the Huron commune. Their population in 1947 was 65, with 25 baptized members.
Daughter colonies of King Ranch Hutterite Colony include: Ayers Ranch Hutterite Colony (Grass Range, Montana); Flat Willow Ranch Hutterite Colony (Roundup, Montana); and Surprise Creek Hutterite Colony (Stanford, Montana).
In 2012 the colony was featured in a National Geographic 10-episode television show entitled "American Colony: Meet The Hutterites." The colony was a Dariusleut colony. In 2017 the minister was John Hofer, and the manager was Marvin Hofer.
