Mialta Hutterite Colony in Vulcan, Alberta, was founded in 1989 as a division from the Brant Hutterite Colony (Brant, Alberta, Canada).

A daughter colony is the Silverwinds Hutterite Colony (Lomond, Alberta, Canada).

In 2024 the Mialta Hutterite Colony was a Lehrerleut colony.
