Michael Schneider, a Philippite [[Anabaptism|Anabaptist]] and hymn writer, originally of [[Bruchsal (Baden-Württemberg, Germany)|Bruchsal]], Baden, where he joined the group of [[Plener, Philipp (16th century)|Philipp Plener]] in 1527.
