It was this firm which published the German Martyrs' Mirror in 1870, the English Complete Works of Menno Simons in 1871, Dirk Philips' Enchiridion in German in 1872 , began the Mennonite Family Almanac and Familien-Kalender in 1870, and published many Mennonite hymnbooks, prayer books, and catechisms.
