Kalleken, widow of Anpleunis van den Berge, an Anabaptist martyr, was burned at the stake on 30 April 1569, at Kortrijk (Courtrai) in Flanders, Belgium, where her husband had suffered martyrdom on 17 December 1568. Kalleken, whose official name was Cathelijne Saelins, or Calleken Stalins, had been (re)baptized in the fall of 1567 or in the spring of 1568 and was arrested at Meenen, Belgium, to which town she apparently had moved after her husband's arrest. She died faithful. Her goods were confiscated. With her were executed Pieter den Ouden (Oudeghodt), Fransoois de Timmerman, Jan van Raes, Jan Wattier, and Wouter Denys.
