Milltown Hutterite Hutterite Colony in Yankton, South Dakota, USA, was founded in 1886 as a division from the Bon Homme Hutterite Colony which had divided 1878 to form the Tripp Hutterite Colony(Yankton, South Dakota, USA).The Tripp Hutterite Colony ceased to exist in 1884.
The group moved to Tidioute, Pennsylvania to form a new colony, but this colony moved back to Yankton to form the Milltown Hutterite Colony. The Milltown Hutterite Colony ceased to exist in 1922. It was a Schmiedeleut colony.
Daughter colonies of the Milltown Hutterite Colony include: Milltown Hutterite Colony (Elie, Manitoba, Canada); the Rosedale Hutterite Colony (Mitchell, South Dakota, USA), and Buffalo Hutterite Colony (South Dakota, USA).
