Hans Weckh, a Hutterite martyr, was executed with his brother-in-law Heinrich Adams at Aachen on 21 October 1558. (In ML I, 148, and ME I, 11, he is erroneously called Hans Beck.) Weckh was one of a company of twelve, six brethren and six sisters, led by Hans Schmid, who were sent on a missionary tour to the Netherlands and were all arrested in Aachen on 9 January 1558, when a meeting was surprised by the authorities.
