Limoges, is a city and commune in France (coordinates: 45° 50′ 7.08″ N, 1° 15′ 45″ E), the préfecture of the Haute-Vienne département, and the administrative capital of the Limousin region. It was the seat of a Mennonite congregation known from correspondence of elders from the Jura with Lorenz Friedenreich in Neuwied in 1783-1784 to have been established by four families from the Jura district in Switzerland who settled there.
