Casas Grandes was a Mennonite colony founded in 1986 in the Santa Cruz Department in [[Bolivia]]. In 2020 the population of the colony was estimated at approximately 1000-2,500 individuals and the land area comprised of 14,600 hectares.  The colonists came primarily from Buenos Aires ([[Mexico]]) and El Cuervo (Mexico).
