Calleken (Lijnken, Lijntgen, Lijsken) Meevels, an [[Anabaptism|Anabaptist]] martyr, was burned at the stake at [[Antwerp (Belgium)|Antwerp]], on 26 February 1571, together with [[Maerten van Wijk (d. 1571)|Maerten van Wijk]] and her husband [[Jan van de Walle (ca. 1531-1571)|Jan van de Walle]]. She was a native of Kortrijk (Courtrai), Belgium, and was 40 years of age.
