Zondervan, Pieter Sjoerds (1863-1937)
Pieter Sjoerds Zondervan: minister; born 8 December 1863 in Parraga and died 6 November 1937 in Deventer, was trained for the ministry at the university and the Mennonite seminary of Amsterdam, serving as pastor at Ytens 1889-91, Barsingerhorn 1891-92, and Leeuwarden 1892-1924, when he retired. He was a man of great modesty, yet very learned. Besides some sermons he published Radicate Christusbeschouwingen (Leeuwarden, 1916) and a paper, De Beteekenis van een Christologie op kritisch standpunt (Assen, 1925).
