Wolf Creek Hutterite Colony in New Dayton, Alberta, was founded in 1930 as a relocation of the original Dariusleut colony at Wolf Creek Hutterite Colony (Hutchinson County, South Dakota, USA).

Daughter colonies of the Wolf Creek Hutterite Colony include: Lakeside Hutterite Colony (Cranford, Alberta, Canada); Deerfield Hutterite Colony (Lewistown, Montana, USA); Downie Lake Hutterite Colony (Maple Creek, Saskatchewan, Canada); and East Raymond Hutterite Colony (Raymond, Alberta, Canada).

In 2023 the Wolf Creek Hutterite Colony was a Dariusleut colony.
