Community Bible Church (Wolf Point, Montana, USA)
The Evangelization Committee of the Northern District Conference of the General Conference Mennonite Church purchased a parsonage and empty lot in Wolf Point, Montana in 1948 in the hope of establishing a church in this community of 2,500. Lawrence Goerz served as the first mission worker. He helped to organize the United Mennonite Church, with a charter membership of 18.
With conference help, the congregation built a church on the empty lot in 1949. The congregation joined the Northern District in 1956.
In 1979 the congregation changed its name to Community Bible Church.
On 15 February 1984, the congregation voted to withdraw from the Northern District Conference. It subsequently joined the Evangelical Mennonite Brethren Conference, later called the Fellowship of Evangelical Bible Churches.
In 2023 the congregation included about 30 people, including young couples and families.
