United Center Church of God in Christ, Mennonite (Galva, Kansas, USA)

The United Center Church of God in Christ, Mennonite congregation northeast of Galva, Kansas, USA was established in 1974. The congregation started as a daughter congregation of the Lone Tree congregation. On 9 October 1974, 36 members transferred to the new church.

On 15 February 1973, some Lone Tree members had begun a midweek Bible study; from this came confirmation of a conviction to begin a new congregation. Indeed 13 families had purchased the former United Center School in late 1972 in anticipation of such a venture. The first service of the United Center congregation took place on 1 September 1974.

In 1979/80, the congregation added a new sanctuary and remodeled the rest of the facility into a fellowship hall, classrooms, and kitchen. Further remodeling took place in 1995.

After the Sunflower School operated by Lone Tree became full, United Center constructed the Sugar Creek School in 1990.

In 2020 the congregation was part of the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite. The ministers were Cyrus Wedel and Lavern Koehn.
