Schuhknecht, Christoph (d. AFT 1552)
Christoph Schuhknecht, an Anabaptist martyr, the son of Andreas Zimmermann, who had previously been executed as a martyr, was put to death with Valentin Luckner and two other companions at Michelsburg in the Puster Valley of Tyrol, after 20 October 1552 (1553?). They had been caught by Christoph Ochs, the judge of Michelsburg, at a meeting of some twenty Anabaptists in a forest, at which Hans Amon had preached.
