Reedsville New Order Amish Settlement (Reedsville, Wisconsin, USA)
The Reedsville New Order Amish settlement near Reedsville, Wisconsin, USA was established in 2006. The settlement started when the Omer Yoder family moved to Reedsville from St. Ignatius, Montana in 2002 with the hope of starting a new community. After a number of contacts in 2005, other families joined them in 2006, coming from Lyndonville, Conneautville, and other locations.
The first church service was held on 18 June 2006, led by James Dale Mast, one of the new arrivals.
The Maple Lawn School was initially held in homes; by 2008 it was held in rented two-story cabin.
In 2014 the settlement was part of the New Order Amish. The ministers were James Dale Mast, Lyle Duane Lengacher and Mark Burkholder. There was one district with a total of nine family units.
