Pierre Messchars (d. 1568)
Pierre Messchars, an Anabaptist martyr, a member of the congregation of Brugge, Belgium, who was arrested with a number of other members in March 1568. He was burned at the stake on 6 March or shortly after. Further particulars are lacking. He may have been a member of the Mennonite Messchaert family, which is found later in the Netherlands.
