Panman
Panman (Panneman), a Dutch Mennonite family, originally living near Sappemeer, later in Pekela, both in the province of Groningen. Many of the Panman family were deacons of the Mennonite congregations at Veendam, Pekela, and Stadskanaal, and Jan Panneman was from about 1740 until shortly before 1780 a preacher of the Danzig Old Flemish Mennonites at Sappemeer and later of Pekela.
