Maugansville (Maryland, USA)
Maugansville, Maryland, with a population of 700 in 1957, 2,295 in 2000, was an unincorporated village in the northern part of Washington County, three miles (5 km) northwest of Hagerstown. Mennonites (MC) lived in and around the village. The Reiff Mennonite Church was located two miles (3 km) to the northwest, while the Paradise Mennonite Church and the Miller Mennonite Church were situated east of the village, the latter church two miles (3 km) from Leitersburg. These three churches had a combined membership of 564 in 1954. The Mennonite Old People's Home was located near Maugansville.
