Cornelis Luytjes was a member of the Waterlander congregation at Barsingerhorn, Dutch province of North Holland, who published the following books: 1. Godt verheerlykt in den Zondaar (Hoorn, 1757; of this book there is an edition of Amsterdam, n.d., of which only the title page is changed, then reading God in den Sondaar verheerlijkt); 2. Beoeffenend Onderwys voor de Jeugd tot Doop en Avondmaal (Hoorn, 1761), a catechism; 3. De Gangen Gods in Zyn Heyligdom ontdekt. (Amsterdam, 1765), which contains an account of the life of Jesus. Concerning Luytjes there is no further information; apparently he was not a preacher, since his name is not found in the [[Naamlijst der tegenwoordig in dienst zijnde predikanten der Mennoniten in de Vereenigde Nederlanden|Naamlijsten]].
