Lusangu Kapenda (b. 1918)

Lusangu Kapenda was born in Panzi, Belgian Congo (Democratic Republic of Congo). After primary school he became a teacher at Panzi. In 1952 he became president of the central office of the Mennonite Brethren (MB) at Kikwit and pastor of the Kimpwanza congregation in Kikwit. After 1968 he served as an evangelist at Panzi and was responsible for evangelism in the entire Southern Region of the Mennonite Brethren conference (Communauté des Églises de Frères Mennonites au Congo).
