Lettonitz (Jihomoravský kraj, Czech Republic)
Lettonitz (Lettnitz), a village (pop. 1,000) northeast of Austerlitz in Moravia. Little is known of the Bruderhof of the Hutterian Brethren set up here. In 1619-1620 it was plundered by Polish troops of the imperial army, which had surprised Pruschan and Kobelitz, murdering five Brethren and shooting a child at its mother's breast.
