This work also contains a translation of Menno Simons' Van de nieue creature and some letters and confessions by the martyrs Jaques d'Auchy, Thys Joriaensz, Hans Alewijnsz, and Jacob de Rore. Las was a native of Lyon, France, and probably a Protestant clergyman.
