Joost de Wielmaker (wheelwright), an Anabaptist martyr, was seized at Antwerp, Belgium, in 1570 with his wife and four other Anabaptists. Joost and Jan de Posamentwerker were executed there in the same year. Van Braght (Martyrs' Mirror) states that his wife was executed with him. This is a mistake, as Génard found in his study of the sources.
