Joos Baten (d. 1536)

Joos Baten, an Anabaptist martyr, was beheaded on 26 January 1536, at Antwerp, Belgium. He was said to have been one of the leading Anabaptists. He was a weaver of satin, originally from Nyenhoven (?).
