The Iglesia Menonita Peniel in El Paisnal, Las Garcitas, El Salvador was established in 1993. The congregation resulted from mission outreach by Beachy Amish Mennonites following development work by Amish Mennonite Aid that began in 1962.

In 2017 the church was a member of the Beachy Amish Mennonite Fellowship and had a membership of 5. The bishops were Ernest Glick and Saul Pacheco, and the minister was José Espinoza..

The Beachy Amish conference in El Salvador is called Iglesia Evangélica Menonita, El Salvador.
