Iglesia Cristiana Valle de Jesus (Brooklyn, New York, USA)

The Iglesia Cristiana Valle de Jesus (Valley of Jesus Christian Church) began as a Pentecostal church in Brooklyn, New York. In 1979, Mercedes Gonzalez, a leader in the United Revival Mennonite Church of Brooklyn, served as interim pastor for the Pentecostal congregation. In 1982, the congregation became part of the Lancaster Mennonite Conference of the Mennonite Church (MC).

Since Mercedes was a woman, in 1984, the Lancaster Mennonite Conference issued her "a certificate for ministerial services" that stopped short of recognizing her as a minister.

The church has served as a food bank location for the Food Bank for New York City.
