Hoogland family

Hoogland, a Mennonite family in the Dutch province of Friesland, mostly farmers and often deacons of the church since the 18th century. They lived in the Bildt region and belonged to the congregations of St. Anna-Parochie and Oudebildtzijl. Sjouke Johannes Hoogland (1866-1939) published a historical paper in Doopsgezind Jaarboekje 1932.
