Hillcrest Hutterite Colony in Garden City, South Dakota, was founded in 1978 (Hofer says 1979)[1] as a division from the Riverside Hutterite Colony (Huron, South Dakota, USA).

A daughter colonies of Hillcrest Hutterite Colony is the Silver Lake Hutterite Colony (Clark, South Dakota, USA).

In 2025 the Hillcrest Hutterite Colony was a Schmiedeleut Group 2 colony.
