Guanacastillo Mennonite Fellowship is located in Masaya, Nicaragua. The church originated outreach efforts by leaders from the Mennonite Christian Fellowship in Costa Rica to plant a congregation in Nicaragua. Gerald Yoder, Allan Miller and Eli Hershberger were among those who made exploratory trips into Nicaragua. On one trip destined for another location they were delayed in Masaya and stayed overnight. They experienced a welcome to the community, and turned their focus for outreach to the Masaya area.

In 1995 the mission leaders purchased a property in Guanacastillo, 10 km north of Masaya. The Myron Diller family arrived in 1996 to provide lay pastoral leadership. Ivan Petre came and served as the first pastor in 1997.

A Christian Aid Ministries warehouse is located near Managua, about 30 minutes away. There has been some involvement with that work.

In 2018 the church had 19 members and was a member of the Mennonite Christian Fellowship. The ministerial team included Bishop Jacob William Byler (not local) and Minister Daniel Stoltzfus.
