Elenchus
Elenchus (Refutation). Two Latin polemics against the Anabaptists appeared in the 16th century with this Greek word in the title: Zwingli's In catabaptistarum strophas elenchus (Zürich, 1527), and Hendrik Anthonieszoon van der Linden's (Antonides) Elenchus Anabaptisticus (1576).
