The Mennonite Church at Donauwörth existed from 1912 until 1928. Since 1900 Mennonites from Baden have purchased and leased land near the city. In 1912 they organized a congregation that met monthly in a rented hall in Donauwörth, had a membership of 42 adults and 36 children, and belonged to the Verband. With the congregations at Munich, Regensburg, Ingolstadt, and Eichstock, it also belonged to the South Bavarian conference, which had been meeting quarterly since 1920. The elder was Daniel Lichti of Eilgau. In 1928 the congregation was reorganized and moved its meeting place to Augsburg.
