Columbia River Church of God in Christ, Mennonite (Othello, Washington, USA)

The Columbia River Church of God in Christ, Mennonite congregation south of Othello, Washington, USA was established in 1987. The congregation started when families began moving to the area in 1984 because of the relatively mild climate, and the opportunities for raising cattle, growing alfalfa, owning apple orchards, as well as hog and dairy farming.

Initially, the families met for worship in homes with the assistance of nonresident ministers. In 1987 the congregation bought a double-wide mobile home that was used as a church and school. The groundbreaking for a school building took place in 1992. A new church building was erected in 1997, with the first service held in it on 5 October 1997.

The church operates the Desert Springs Christian School.

In 2020 the congregation was part of the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite. The ministers were Brent Schultz and Rick Mastre.
