Beets (Noord-Holland, Netherlands)
Beets, a village in the Dutch province of North Holland, from which the Beets family takes its name. Leenaert Bouwens baptized 19 persons here between 1563 and 1565, and an additional 10 between 1568 and 1582. Nothing is known concerning a congregation at this place.
