Athabaska Hutterite Colony in Whispering Hills, Alberta, was founded in 1962 (Hofer says 1961)[1] as a division from the Rosebud Hutterite Colony.

A daughter colony of the Athabaska Hutterite Colony is the Hughenden Hutterite Colony (Hughenden, Alberta, Canada).

In 2026 the Athabaska Hutterite Colony was a Dariusleut colony.
