Fordham Hutterite Colony was founded in 1974 (Hofer says 1977)[1] as a division from the Huron Hutterite Colony (Huron, South Dakota, USA).
Altona Hutterite Colony in Henderson, Minnesota, is a daughter colony.
In 2025 Fordham Hutterite Colony was a Schmiedeleut Group 1 colony.
