Rock Lake Hutterite Colony (Gross Isle, Manitoba, Canada)
Rock Lake Hutterite Bruderhof, of the Schmiedeleut branch, located one mile west of Gross Isle, Manitoba, was founded in 1947 by Michael Gross, preacher of the Iberville Bruderhof, and nine families with 70 persons including 25 baptized members. By 1958 the population of Rock Lake was 124, with 36 baptized members.
In 2012 the Rock Lake Hutterite Colony was a Schmiedeleut Group 2 colony. The minister was Tim Hofer and the manager was Ben Hofer.
