Naenken (Naentgen, Adrienne) Bornaige was an Anabaptist martyr. Because of her Anabaptist conviction she had fled from Lier, Brabant, to Ghent, Flanders, Belgium, where she soon was arrested and burned at the stake on 11 April 1551, with four other Anabaptists, all from Lier. On the way to the site of execution Naenken said, "This is the day for which I have so greatly longed." In the Offer des Heeren she was called simply Naenken. These martyrs from Lier were commemorated in the hymn, "Doemen vijftienhondert schreve, daertoe een en vijftich jaer," found in the Lietboecxken van den Offer des Heeren.
