Mount Salem Community Church (Aylmer, Ontario, Canada)

The Mount Salem congregation at Aylmer, Ontario began in 1976 through a division from the Luton Sommerfelder Mennonite Church. Members are primarily recent immigrants from Mexico. Worship is conducted both in Low German and English. The congregation affiliated with the Evangelical Mennonite Conference in 1976.

R.R. 6, Aylmer, ON, N5H 2R5. (519) 773-8569. Located 20 km (12 mi) southeast of Aylmer, 1 km (1/2 mi) east of McOnnel Nursery on Lakeshore Rd. Pastor John P. Loewen provided leadership in 1986. The pastoral leader in 2001 was Leonard Barkman.
