Daniel Calvaer (d. 1564)

Daniel Calvaerd (Kalvaert), an Anabaptist martyr, a native of Thielt in Flanders, Belgium, was seized at Armentieres, taken to Rijssel (Lille), France, and back to Armentieres, where he was burned at the stake in 1564, exact date unknown.
