Surprise Creek Hutterite Colony in Stanford, Montana, was founded in 1963 as a division from the King Ranch Hutterite Colony. In 2012 the Surprise Creek Hutterite Colony was a Dariusleut colony. The minister was Sam Hofer and the manager was Jacob Hofer.
